Space
An ideal space is minimum 5m x 10m.
Empty, accessible and for exclusive use (can be built into the larger InHaus space). Irregular room shapes can be useful for sound reflection, carpets are fine, existing fixtures and fittings to be discussed.
Access – Two-door access is good for show flow – an entrance and an exit.
Meet and Greet – minimum 2m x 2m next to the performance room. (This can be integrated into the main space if large enough)
Total Blackout – Ability to black-out the room is essential. Early discussions with your team about achieving total black-out are helpful.
Power – Stable electricity supply – plenty of 13-amp sockets.
Sound Spill – The show has moments of extreme volume, noise and silence. Soundproofing is not essential but proximity to other rooms needs to be considered.

Depending on the size of room in discussion with audio technician from host venue
8 x Genelec 1029A (or very closely spec’d equivalents)
1 x Genelec 760B Sub (or very closely spec’d equivalent)
2 x 50 watt + guitar/bass/keyboard amps
13 amp power supplies and all cabling through XLR/multicore
1 x Apple Silicon-compatible audio interface (USB-C or Thunderbolt 4 connection)
The artists will provide Apple M1 laptop and spatialising software
Visual Tech Spec
1 x slide projector + power supply and extension
OR 1 x Data projector (MODEL TBD) + power supply and extension
1 x domestic standard lamp
1 x projector stand
Set Tech Spec
1 x comfortable armchair (modern or mid-century)
